Kirk Cousins Went on an Interception Spree vs Chargers

The Minnesota Vikings improved to an impressive 10-2 today, with a nail-biting 23-22 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Next up, they’ll face a very familiar face in quarterback Kirk Cousins, who’s now leading the Atlanta Falcons.
Kirk and the Falcons have had a wild ride kind of season, pretty much since the moment he signed. It started with a tampering scandal. Then, a month after signing, they drafted his replacement with the No. 7 overall pick.
Still, Atlanta got off to a strong 6-3 start. But since, they’ve stumbled, losing three-straight games to drop to 6-6, and this week, Cousins had his worst performance as a Falcon, a 13-game stint that already had a few duds on it.
Former Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins throws 4 interceptions vs Chargers
The Atlanta Falcons might be sitting on top of the NFC South right now, but let’s be real, leading the worst division in football isn’t the playoff badge of honor any team wants to wear. And if you’re an Atlanta Falcons fan, it might be time to hit the panic button, after today’s performance.
How bad was it? Especially bad for Kirk Cousins, who went 24-of-39 (61.5%) for 245 yards in week 13 vs the Los Angeles Chargers, a performance that including 4 interceptions and 0 touchdowns the with no touchdowns while racking up 245 passing yards.

The interceptions Kirk Cousins keeps throwing aren’t just unlucky, they’re legitimately bad throws, and it’s tough to watch. It definitely makes you wonder if leaving Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell was really the smartest move for him after all.
Cousins has been bad for weeks now in Atlanta
Sunday’s abysmal showing extends Kirk’s touchdown drought to three games, of which the Atlanta Falcons have lost all three. Over this skid, Cousins has totaled 0 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He’s also lost four fumbles, including another today.
