Full Minnesota Twins TV Channel Lineup and Providers List

Minnesota Twins games will no longer be broadcast on Bally Sports North this season. That’s a good thing, no matter how you like to watch games. Streaming problems of years past are out the window. It doesn’t matter which streaming or cable provider you have or what part of the midwest you live in.
If you want to watch the MN Twins game today vs the St. Louis Cardinals or anytime during the next six months, fans in the local “Twins Territory” viewing area can dial up Twins.TV in their web browser or open the MLB app, where they can subscribe to Twins TV there. The cost is $19.99 per month, with a discounted full-season option also available.

Unfortunately, the rollout of Twins TV — which is being handled by the MLB — has not been smooth. As of Opening Day morning, the most popular providers, including DirecTV, Comcast/Xfinity and Charter had yet to announce a deal with Twins TV.

The Minnesota Twins have remained confident that contracts would be reached with all the major carriers mentioned above, but fans across Twins Territory still woke up nervous this morning. Then, around 8 AM, the Twins announced agreements with most of the major cable and satellite providers across the midwest.
Seven hours before the first pitch, the Twins finally announced how fans can watch their games on TV.

If you’re a cord cutter, who has moved to an all-around streaming provider (like YouTube TV or Sling TV), you’re out of luck. Twins TV is not offered on most all-inclusive streaming platforms yet, unless your streaming provider is one of Fubo or DirecTV Stream. Those two stream-only channel providers now have Twins TV available.
Channel numbers may be fluid, too. For example, Twins TV is supposedly (per the list below) on the same DirecTV channel as what Bally Sports North has been on historically. Bally doesn’t hold rights to the Twins anymore but they do still broadcast Wolves and Wild games. So something will have to give on that…

What is the difference between Twins.TV and MLB.TV
The first Minnesota Twins game of the season will air at 3:15 PM CDT on Thursday, so make sure that Twins TV is included in your channel package, if you have one of the cable/satellite providers above, before then. Otherwise, download the MLB app on your smart TV, tablet or smartphone and purchase Twins TV there.

This information is for local fans only. Those Twins fans who live outside of the local viewing network (Minnesota, Iowa, ND, SD, Wisconsin) will watch games the same way they had previously. The same out of market packages are available at MLB.TV and in the MLB app for out-of-market subscribers.
Twins TV and out of market MLB.TV will be marked differently for in-market fans, so be sure to purchase the correct package.
