Earlier today, the injury of Chad Beebe pushed the Vikings to bring Laquon Treadwell back to the team. Who would’ve thought, at the time he went down, that Beebe’s injury would cause two big reunions though? It looks like that is exactly what has happened, because Marcus Sherels is coming back now too.

Treadwell’s return has brought mixed emotions from the Vikings fanbase today, because of his utter failure as a 1st round pick, but I don’t think we’ll see any of that with Sherels’ return. That guy is universally loved, and for good reason. He’s Rochester born and raised, and one of the most down-to-earth, and nicest human beings on the planet.

I lived in Rochester for a couple of years and saw him around the night scene a few times, where people flocked. He knows just about everyone in that city though, so you hear everything about him. And, nothing I was ever told had any negative aspect.

Not only all of that, but he has been one of the best punt returners and gunners in the game, since he arrived in the NFL. Beebe muffed multiple punts last week, alone, so it will be nice to have the sure-handed Sherels back there again.
