Teddy Bridgewater to talk to media Thursday:
FINALLY! We get to hear from our favorite QB. Teddy has been quiet for so long. We are all excited to see him and hear his beautiful voice tomorrow. It is pretty incredible how he has captured our hearts without really playing that well in a Vikings’ Jersey. He has an infectious personality.
The #Vikings have placed QB Teddy Bridgewater on the PUP list after his physical today. He’ll address the media tomorrow.

Everson Griffen inks a long term deal:
The Vikings made a move toward their future today and signed Griffen to a 4 year deal worth $58 Million. He has been and will continue to be a big part of this really good defense. Here is our story on Everson, with some thoughts on Rhodes and Bradford’s contract status. There is some Teddy sprinkled in too.
REPORTS: Twins will look to sell both Santana and Garcia if struggles continue:
This came across the wire this evening:
Sources: #Twins will consider moving Ervin Santana – and even the recently acquired Jaime Garcia – if team’s recent struggles continue. @MLB

Saw this coming… needed to win the Detroit series and get one from LA. Could fail both… https://t.co/VIJjL754hV

It is an expected move. The Twins expected to be sellers all season. If they continue to fall further behind (currently 4.5 games back), it won’t make sense to stand pat when you could be getting better for the future.
9:10 PM CT Start: Twins @ Dodgers:
The Twins did exactly what I was worried about as they went out west to open a road trip against the Dodgers, and got swept. The Dodgers are the best team in the National League and they showed us why. The Twins had late leads in the first and last game but couldn’t hold either one.
Last night the Twins were up 5-0, heading to the bottom of the 4th inning. That disappeared when Pederson hit a bomb to right against Santana. Puig followed in the 5th with another solo homerun. At this point, I knew the Twins were going to need another run or two but was worried they weren’t going to get it.
Worried the #MNTwins aren’t going to score anymore..

In the 7th, Utley drove in two more with a double. Forsythe hit a SAC in the 8th to tie it. Then, in the 9th: YouTube – Green Mode
So, there you have it. the Twins are now down 5.5 games with only this weekend between them and the trade deadline. It better be a GREAT weekend or we are going to see the bidding begin on guys like Santana and newly acquired Garcia.
