Nolan Teasley is seemingly making changes to the Minnesota Vikings organization with every day that passes.

On Tuesday, after word got out that he was making two more additions to his front office staff, the Vikings announced a couple moves to shift around depth on both sides of the roster, as well.

Out is depth tackle Caleb Etienne, along with defensive lineman Monkell Goodwine, who were both waived. In their place, Teasley has signed one former Seattle Seahawk, tight end Marshall Lang, along with former Patriots and Steelers defensive lineman Jahvaree Ritzie.

The MN Vikings signed Caleb Etienne back in December, after the now 24-year-old was waived by the Cincinnati Bengals at the end of camp last season (September 2025).

After impressing enough people in the Bengals organization that he made it all the way to the final end of preseason, cuts, Etienne was good enough in his short stint with the Vikings that they signed the former BYU and Oklahoma State offensive tackle to a futures contract for 2026… which Teasley is now tearing up.

Monkell Goodwine, meanwhile, came aboard the 2026 Minnesota Vikings ship via undrafted free agency, out of South Carolina. Unfortunately, after the new general manager got a chance to evaluate the during minicamp last week… both Goodwine and Etienne were deemed expendable.

What to know about new Vikings DL Jahvaree Ritzie

Taking Goodwine’s place on the Vikings defensive line will be Jahvaree Ritzie, who signed with the New England Patriots last offseason, as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina.

The 23-year-old was then cut by the Pats last September, before eventually being scooped up by the Pittsburgh Steelers a couple of months later. Unfortunately for Ritzie, he only lasted a few months in the Steel City, before they cut him loose a few weeks ago.

Ritzie hasn’t played a snap in the NFL, since leaving Chapel Hill following his senior season in 2024, where he managed 6.5 sacks, 40 tackles and one 84-yard interception returned for a touchdown against Virginia.

What to know about new Vikings tight end Marshall Lang

Marshall Lang spent five years at Northwestern, where he never totalled more than 200 yards receiving and only scored one touchdown in his last three seasons between 2022 and 2024.

After a full year without recording time on an NFL roster, Lang — who totalled 491 yards and 4 touchdowns on 48 collegiate receptions during his time as a Wildcat — signed with the New England Patriots practice squad in October, 2025.

Two days later, he was released. In early November, he was signed by Nolan Teasley’s former team, the Seattle Seahawks, who rostered him for six weeks, until he was waived on December 30.

Marshall Lang then spent the spring (Feb-Apr) back in New England, before the Cincinnati, Ohio native was waived again. Now, he’ll get yet another NFL shot, this time with the Minnesota Vikings.
