Nobody Watched, but Le’Veon Bell Sent Adrian Peterson Straight to La La Land Last Night
Adrian Peterson is the best running back in Minnesota Vikings history, gaining $11, 747 yards and 97 touchdowns while wearing purple. AP made over $100,000,000 during his 15-year NFL career. But those days are likely over, and all of the money he made, mostly gone.
On NFL opening weekend in 2022, AP isn’t playing football. He is fighting other washed up running backs, like La’Veon Bell. I respect Peterson for doing whatever it takes to keep the lights on, in this economy. But in the 5th and final round of their pay-per-view bout on Saturday night, Bell knocked his lights out. It was an overhand right that took AP’s soul. A pure knee-buckler. The second angle below is the best angle.

Purse Unknown
We do not know how much Adrian Peterson or Le’Veon Bell took home for the fight, or if the winner received more than the loser. The event was held in LA, at Banc of California Stadium. The attendance was… sparse, especially for a palace that holds 22,000 people. According to accounts, neither AP nor Bell have a future in fighting.
At weigh-ins, Peterson looked like a favorite. But when the fists stopped flying, Adrian found himself in la la land.
Supposedly only 200 tickets were sold for Adrian Peterson vs Le’veon Bell fight.
