TJ Hockenson Set to Return to Minnesota Vikings Practice
TJ Hockenson, the Pro Bowl tight end for the Minnesota Vikings, has sat out the first four games of the season because of a major knee injury that happened last year. Today brings some positive news: Hockenson has been cleared to return, just in time, as the Vikings are 4-0.
TJ Hockenson returns to Minnesota Vikings practice this Friday
The Minnesota Vikings are heading to London this week to face off against the 2-2 New York Jets. Unfortunately, tight end T.J. Hockenson won’t be playing in the game.
However, there’s some good news, he will begin practicing for the first time this season when the team arrives in London, as his PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) window opens up on Friday.
Vikings will open T.J. Hockenson’s PUP practice window on FRIDAY, per Kevin O’Connell. He’ll travel with the team to London and have his first practice there. Doesn’t seem to be a chance he will play vs. Jets but the process has begun.

This is a great time for Hockenson to return, especially with the Vikings facing the Jets this week. After that, they have a bye in Week 6, which means Hockenson will more than likely be ready to hit the field in Week 7.
His return would provide a major lift to an already high-powered offense that has been unstoppable, scoring over 23 points+ in every game this season.

T.J. Hockenson is now in his second full season with the Vikings after joining the team mid-way through the 2022-23 season. He has made a significant impact since his arrival. In just 25 games with Minnesota, Hockenson has recorded 155 catches for 1,479 yards and has found the end zone eight times.
Put some respect on TJ Hockenson’s name. I saw all y’all chirping. You owe him an apology.
