Photo Evidence Confirms Justin Jefferson and Anthony Edwards Historic Reshoot
Rumors surfaced over the last couple of days on social media saying Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson recently completed a historic Minnesota sports photoshoot.
Recreating that iconic Randy Moss + Kevin Garnett photo
It’s something fans have been asking for. They want the future of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves to recreate that iconic Randy Moss + Kevin Garnett cover shoot from Sport Magazine, back in March, 2000.
According to the photographer from that 24-year-old photo session, it was KG’s idea for him and Randy Moss to switch jerseys, during the shoot. It was Garnett’s genius epiphany that helped create the above photo. Little did he know, at the time, that this image would be seared into the memories of Minnesota sports fans for decades to come.
“It was Kevin’s idea for them to switch jerseys during the shoot. Moss and Garnett were both playing in Minnesota at the time and the story was about their history together and how they were both happy to be working in the same city.”

Is the Justin Jefferson + Anthony Edwards photoshoot a secret Minnesota Timberwolves mission?
After a couple of deleted tweets and dozen-or-so viral aggregations later, nobody knew officially if Edwards and Jefferson actually got together for these rumored photos. That was until Monday, when a behind-the-scenes photo surfaced of Ant and JJ wearing each others’ jerseys, clearly in the middle of a photo shoot.

It’s still uncertain how this picture made its way to the internet, or who took it. My guess, is that whoever snapped it wouldn’t want to claim responsibility. Mainstream reporters remain mostly quiet. Why?
This is just me connecting theoretical dots, but peep that Anthony Edwards jersey Justin Jefferson is wearing. Could this photoshoot be part of a yet-to-be revealed Minnesota Timberwolves rebrand?

Remember, rumors surfaced earlier this offseason that a more permanent Wolves throwback redesign could be on the way, after Old Shep made a very successful cameo in 2023-24. It makes sense.
Neither the Timberwolves nor Vikings would care if word got out surrounding a recreated photoshoot. On the contrary, higher ups in the Wolves organization would 100% care about said photoshoot leaking a planned uniform release.
Just something to keep in mind…
