4 Minnesota Gophers Named AP All-Big Ten
It was a rough season for the Minnesota Gophers football team, who finished the regular season 5-7. With that being said, vibes coming out of Dinkytown this week haven’t been that bad.
PJ Fleck & Co will still play in a bowl game this month and the 7th-year head coach has done a rather impressive job of steadying Minnesota’s transfer portal waters, especially after Athan Kaliakmanis dropped his oar and jumped out of the boat just a day or two after the final whistle vs Wisconsin.

Safety, Tyler Nubin was also named 1st Team All Big Ten by CBS Sports and The Athletic, adding to his Reese’s Senior Bowl invite and a plethora of other honors and awards from a stellar 2023 senior season. Nubin is sure to be a 1st or 2nd day draft pick in April.
Left tackle, Aireontae Ersery has blossomed into one of the best tackles in college football, according to PFF, and he’s already announced his plans to remain with the Minnesota Gophers next season. He will be a huge part of any success Fleck’s squad gets back to in 2024.

Kicker, Dragan Kesich was quietly the best kicker in the conference this season and his numbers show it. He too will get his NFL opportunities this summer and fall.
Wide receiver, Daniel Jackson, another Gopher standout who has announced his plans to return for 2024, was the only wide receiver Minnesota could really rely on in 2023. If Max Brosmer can earn the trust of PJ Fleck, Daniel Jackson has already shown he can get open and is guaranteed to catch anything within his radius.
