Hi Everyone,
My name is Brian and I’m new here.
Being new, I just wanted to let all of you know who I am and what I’m about. Born and raised in St. Paul, my Minnesota sports fandom has been lifelong. It doesn’t stick with just one team, however. Whether it’s the Vikings, Saints, Gophers, Loons, Wolves, Twins, Lynx and most recently the Whitecaps… I cheer for them all the same. I’m proud of this state, and not afraid to let people know about it…
And just like every other Minnesota sports fan, I also seem to be a glutton for punishment. Moving forward, you will see I have a very unique writing style that may come off as that of a fan… because that’s really what I am. I’m a fan who wants to share my fandom with all of you. As the song goes “we can build this dream together.”
I look forward to connecting with all of you, and continuing to share my work as time goes on. Whether it be chasing that Super Bowl, World Series or Stanley Cup you will get my opinions, my frustrations, and my optimism.
I am very active on Twitter, follow along if you’d like (@b_heintzz) and I’m always open for questions, and/or discussions about our favorite teams.

The last time the Vikings had the same QB start every game back to back years was Fran Tarkenton in 1972 and ‘73. Schedules were only 14 games back then. He went 12-2 and 7-7.
Maybe it was time for some stability at the position.

Note from Eric: You can also follow Brian’s personal blog where you can learn a lot more about his story. It’s a pretty great one. He’s a must follow on Twitter too. I’m jacked up to have him joining the family! You’ll enjoy him.
