Twins Pick Up Options on Jorge Polanco, Max Kepler

The Minnesota Twins have picked up 2024 team options on both Jorge Polanco and Max Kepler, locking them into one final year under contract.

Polanco’s option will bank him $10.5 million for the season and Kepler’s will make him $10 million. The moves were no-brainers, something I wrote about when the Twins’ season ended.

Now what?

So, we knew the Polanco and Kepler options would be picked up. What we still do not know, is wether or not either player will be on the Twins’ roster, come Spring Training.

At $10ish million, Kepler and Polanco are steals. If the Twins front office decides they are not a part of the organization’s long term plans, they can trade them for worthy returns.
