The Wild were able to lock down one of their targeted restricted free agents on Sunday. Nino Niederreiter will be a member of the Wild for 5 more years and he will make $26.25 Million in the process.

Nino played all 82 games for the second year in a row while contributing career highs in just about every category via Hockey-Reference.com:

  • Goals: 25
  • Assists: 32
  • Points: 57
  • +/-: 17

Here are some Nino highlights to get you jacked up for hockey season via NHL.com:

The Wild have two restricted free agents left on the roster. Mikael Granlund will be Fletcher’s top priority. Newly acquired Marcus Foligno is also a RFA but is expected to sign. The Wild, per usual, will be very tight against the cap. If a deal can’t be signed by Friday then an arbitration hearing is scheduled.
