There’s not doubt Kirill Kaprizov is already one of the best players in the NHL. Anyone who watches or plays against him on a regular basis knows it

Kirill Kaprizov hat trick beats Blue Jackets

On Sunday, his superstar trajectory went to another level when, after entering the third period down 0-2 vs an unpredictable Columbus Blue Jackets team, Kirill put the Minnesota Wild on his back and carried them to a 3-2 victory, scoring three straight goals by himself, including the sudden death 3v3 OT winner.

But it wasn’t just the three goals he had in the final period and overtime. Kaprizov was applying pressure from the moment the puck dropped on the first period. Columbus goalie, Elvis Merzlikins, was phenomenal all night long, stopping 41 of 44 shots and denying Kaprizov with highlight save after highlight save.

Kaprizov does it all.

It became clear as the game went on, however, that Kirill Kaprizov was not going to let the Wild lose. Not only did he pot three goals on eight shots, he laid down FOUR hits (tied for 2nd most on team) and was on the ice for over 25 minutes.

He was relentless in his pursuit of the puck and Blue Jackets players were timid whenever he was around. It was one of the most dominant performances you will see in a hockey game.

There’s no doubt Kaprizov is the best player to ever dawn a Minnesota Wild jersey and he has made every game must-see TV. Next up for his legacy, is to will the Wild to the playoffs and then perform like the superstar he is, come playoff time.

One thing is for sure. As long as Kirill Kaprizov is skating for your team, you alway have a good chance at winning.
