With just three games left and little to play for at 6-8, the Minnesota Vikings are simply trying to finish out the season. They head to New York this weekend to face the Giants before closing the year with home games against the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

While the Packers matchup is always circled as a rivalry game, this season’s meeting with Detroit carries added significance. The NFC North rivals will face off on Christmas Day in a Thursday afternoon showdown, and the Vikings are bringing in some legendary halftime entertainment to mark the occasion, a certain dog(g) to be named.

The Christmas Day matchup between Minnesota and Detroit is expected to feature an elevated production, fitting for a national spotlight. The game will stream exclusively on Netflix, with the Vikings and Lions taking center stage on the platform. Adding to the spectacle, Snoop Dogg will perform at halftime.
