2024 Minnesota Vikings Defense – Team Stats

Below is how the 2024 Vikings defense statistically ranks against the other 31 NFL teams, in points and yards allowed per game. Just like in the updated NFL defense rankings, the Vikings are off to a good statistical start, as well. So far, they look like a ‘bend but don’t break’ defensive unit.

The Giants, and especially Niners, were able to move the ball up and down the field pretty successfully, but both teams struggled to punch it in. Because the Vikings have held leads during most of both games, opposing offenses have passed a lot. Running the ball against Minnesota has been close to impossible.
