Minnesota Vikings Owner Mentioned in Epstein Files

With the Super Bowl just days away, the NFL offseason will soon go into high gear. And there may not be an organization league-wide that others are watching closer than the Minnesota Vikings.
Late last week, the Vikings fired GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Before that, they found a way ($$$) to retain defensive coordinator Brian Flores.
Outside of the NFL world, however, much of the nation is focused in on a newly released batch of Jeffrey Epstein files. But on Monday, the two news cycles came together after New York Giants owner Steve Tisch was mentioned over 400 times in the latest release.
Epstein Files hit National Football League
The emails between Epstein and Tisch are especially concerning because it’s quite clear what is happening in some of them. Epstein was scouting women for Tisch, but the Giants owner claims he only discussed adult women with with the convicted sex offender and charged human trafficker.
Steve Tisch's statement on his appearance in the Epstein Files (see below) wasn't nearly enough, given the details of the emails that were released (which he did not deny).

They are gross and horrible and, as co-owner of an NFL team, he has a lot more explaining to do. … pic.twitter.com/oos93AsgCF
In his email correspondence with Tisch, Epstein also mentions Jets owner, Woody Johnson. The NFL has since promised to dig into the relationship between at least one of their owners, and the deceased human trafficker.
But the New York football owners weren’t the only NY/NJ based billionaires to be mentioned in the recent Epstein file release, which you can find and search through yourself at justice.gov. In fact, one owner of the Minnesota Vikings showed up too.
Thankfully, the reasoning appears to be MUCH more innocent.
MN Vikings owner Mark Wilf mentioned in Epstein files
According to emails between Jeffrey Epstein and one of his real estate managers back in 2015, Vikings owner Mark Wilf was one of a few potential buyers who got serious about an Epstein property (Moens) near Paris, France, back in the spring of 2015.
Here are the few emails where Wilf’s name was mentioned:

We have some interest from Mark and Jane Wilf. He is president and co-owner (together with his brother, Zygi) of the Vikings NFL franchise. She saw it Friday, brought him back on Saturday and again (twice) on Sunday (once with her mother). They are in their 50s with grown children and would use it infrequently. Her plan is to turn it into a contemporary box so she wants to send over an architect (local modernist – Michael Perry and/or possibly a guy from Boca she knows to look at it. So I don’t think this process will go fast. They were told about it from the man who owns the lakefront house two south of ours. I’ll keep you posted.

There are three circlers: Wilf, Tanney and Weisler.
Boker community thinks it is priced attractively and there are more showings lined up.

Moens informs me that Wilf of the Vikings and Tanne (Chris Angle’s client) are still interested joined by Wally Turner’s (Sothebys) client who saw it on Tuesday and seems taken with it. All three contemplate major redo’s. Moen’s expects something to happen. Do you know how long Joe will be hanging out there? Do you know how interested he really might be in getting something of his own?

Wilf is not believed to have bought the property Epstein was selling, and there were no other mentions of either Mark or Zygi Wilf. Obviously, if that were to change, we will let you know. Until then, Wilf’s mention in the Epstein Files appears to be a nothing-burger (thank god).
