Josh Dobbs Wins Nickelodeon Most Valuable Player; O’Connell Slimed
The Minnesota Vikings won their 4th-straight game last weekend, thanks to an incredible showing by their new QB1, Josh Dobbs, whose legendary week 9 impromptu performance vs the Atlanta Falcons hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Josh Dobbs wins Nickelodeon Most Valuable Player – Week 9
He was named NFC offensive player of the week on Wednesday, but the cooler honor came a little bit later, when he was delivered a trophy and buckets of slime for winning the Nickelodeon Most Valuable Player for his historic 3 total TD dual-threat performance.

Dobbs has been everywhere, since Sunday, as the football world has recognized him for how incredible he played vs the Atlanta Falcons, given his lack of practice time, playbook study and teammate familiarity, with just a few days under his belt as a member of the Vikings.

Pressure is on now…
You’d think he will only get better, after a week being prepared as the Vikings QB1 vs New Orleans. But in all reality, we have no idea what to expect on Sunday. And it’s not just a big game for Josh. His head coach Kevin O’Connell, who took the Nickelodeon slime for him, is gaining quite the a reputation as the next great QB whisperer.
That narrative could start to really snowball, if Josh Dobbs has another great performance. On the other side of the coin, it could quickly hit the brakes, if his new quarterback were to struggle. Can’t wait to find out.
