Carolina Sending Greg Olson to Spy on Vikings Sunday, as Undercover FOX Analyst

Carolina Panthers injured TE, Greg Olson, will be part of the FOX Broadcast Team for Sunday’s Vikings/Rams game. With the Vikings set to travel to face Olson and the Panthers on December 10, this isn’t sitting well with Rick Spielman. Per NFL.com’s article, Spielman expressed his concern with both the NFL and with FOX.

FOX will not be removing Olson from the game. They issued the following statement: “We fully respect the Vikings concerns and will limit the amount of pre-game access allowed to Greg. We look forward to welcoming him in the broadcast booth and giving viewers a unique perspective this Sunday.”

You’re not respecting shit on this one FOX. I’m sorry, but you’re not. You’re pissed that Tony Romo is crushing on CBS and scrambling to find something to compete. This is an absolute joke. An unprecedented joke. A player has NEVER broadcasted a game and faced one of the teams he covered in the same season. This is going to be history, folks. The type of history that may or may not include sketchy shenanigans. Deflategate style.

FOX has made it clear that Olson will be left out of production meetings and not able to attend practice. I’m sure you all have worked at jobs where you were left out of meetings. What do you do when that happens? You stick your nose where it’s not supposed to be. You figure out what you missed. When Barb in HR gets fired, you act shocked. In actuality, Susie gave you the gossip on Barb’s upcoming termination last week. The Vikings know that. So, what will they do? SHUT THEIR LIPS. The FOX broadcast this week will have game-plans from the Vikings that resemble a 4-year-old’s preschool art project. That should really help the broadcast.

Zero part of me is mad at Greg Olson. I can only respect this move from his end. If I were in his shoes, I’d do the same thing. Approach the situation with a James Bond spy-like mindset. Go obtain as much dirt as possible on the enemy. This proves the TE’s dedication to his coaches and teammates.

Many people don’t share my opinion on this topic. That’s nothing new. I’m a Millennial that hates sushi. You do the math. If you think I’m overreacting on this one, then I propose a compromise. Sam Bradford isn’t up to much these days. Get our guy in the broadcast booth for a Carolina game. A QB would break the game down better than a TE anyway. You’re welcome FOX. He is willing to cover the 11/26 @ Jets or the 12/3 @ Saints game. Let his agent know which one works better.

I’m watching you, while watching you FOX. You’re surrounded. I still haven’t forgotten about this Daunte Culpepper disrespect:
