Holy shit!

There were a lot of rumors flying around tonight regarding the Dodgers and Red Sox, in a trade that involved sending Mookie Betts and David Price to LA.

At the very end of negotiations however, the Twins started popping into the conversation. The first place I saw it was from our guy Darren Wolfson.

However, pretty quickly all of the national guys piled on too, making for a very interesting 15 minutes.

For awhile, we thought David Price might even be coming to town. Before the air could start leaking out of my balloon, when it became evident that wasn’t happening, Ken Rosenthal drops this bombshell.

We’ve waited for a long time to see Brusdar Graterol throw his flamer for the Minnesota Twins. We got to see it for a little while at least. Now, he is off to Boston.

And in comes Kenta Maeda.

In 2016, Maeda finished 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting where he pitched over 175 innings. He hasn’t reached that since, but did pitch with a 1.3 WAR last season and an ERA of 4.10, according to Baseball Reference.

Below his stats tables, I’ve embedded a highlight video via Channel 5 (KSTP).
