I almost ruined everything for the Twins (49-47) but they pull off a WIN in spite of my jinx:

So we went to the Twins game today and had a couple too many. Â Things are going well. The ’87 World Series Champs are getting honored while we get hammered and it is a beautiful day… The game gets rolling and things get even better as the Twins take an early lead (5-0 by the end of 4 innings) and never go back. They would tack on a 6th run in the 7th inning and it was over. As you can see here:

But things unraveled in the 8th and the Tigers scored 5 runs. Things seemed to get worse with the first batter in the top of the 9th until Eddie Rosario saved the day:

Kintzler was able to reel things in from there and the Twins win 6-5 as they try to take the rubber match tomorrow at 1 PM! Here is our favorite FULL GAME RECAP from Twins Daily.
Rookies report for Vikings Training Camp on Sunday:
The time is here and Vikings Training Camp is upon us! Here are looks at both Offense and Defense from 1500espn.com:
Twins are still in talks for Jaime Garcia:
It looks like the Twins might still get Jaime Garcia but it looks like it will NOT include Nick Burdi any longer. I would be curious to see if other teams called and offered prospects more interesting than Burdi right before ink went onto paper to complete the deal… We may never know. Here is more from La Velle Neal.
