Michael Pineda Busted for Banned Substance; Suspended 60 Games

As you can see above, the Minnesota Twins’ best starting pitcher has just been suspended for the rest of the season, playoffs included. What a classic Minnesota stroke of shit luck. Nope, it’s not enough that your usual ace has been dog shit since the All-Star break or that your pitching staff already looks the weakest, out of all playoff teams. Nope, let’s swipe Michael Pineda too.

This is a total shock so I’m not even sure where the Twins go from here, with their starting rotation. I just want to focus on the fact that we need to get a couple of victories over the next week vs these Indians, so we can worry about those first-world playoff problems later…
