Byron Buxton Cleared to Throw and Take Batting Practice
All news regarding the Minnesota Twins of late has been depressing. But today, we got a bit of good news. Byron Buxton, who just hit the 10-day injured list five days ago for a hip strain, has been cleared to throw, take batting practice and work on “dynamic and movement prep”, whatever that is.
When were first found out about Buxton’s injury, Rocco Baldelli told us that Byron’s recovery time would be more of a “weeks” situation, than “days”. Has that changed? We don’t know yet but media is expecting to hear from the MVP candidate tomorrow, according to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com.
Byron Buxton is expected to begin hitting in the cage in the next day or two. He's cleared to throw and work with the strength and conditioning staff on his "dynamic and movement prep."

We're expecting to talk to him for more tomorrow.
