Alex Kirilloff Joins Jorge Polanco on Twins Rehab Assignment

The Minnesota Twins have played their first 10 games of the 2023 season without their starting 2nd and 1st basemen, Jorge Polanco and Alex Kirilloff. But it appears their absences are nearing the end.
On Tuesday, both players will be in the starting lineup for Twins single-A affiliate the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels. It will be Kirilloff’s 1st rehab appearance. Polanco has been in the Mighty Mussel lineup since Saturday.
#MNTwins 1B/OF Alex Kirilloff will begin a rehab assignment with the @MightyMussels in Clearwater tonight. He is slated to play 1B and bat 3rd behind Jorge Polanco

The Twins are lacking proven bats in the middle of their lineup so the return of Polanco and Kirilloff would be huge news. This is a major step to that happening.
