New Report Says Jimmy Butler Would Be Interested in Playing with LeBron James
If you opened this in a panic…. take a deep breath.
I shouldn’t knock Bleacher Report because they are there with their push notifications on all news, surrounding your favorite sports team. They come in hot, and in the clutch at times, as the first outlet to hit you with big news that you definitely want to know about. But, along with that, you get flashy headlines like this one, that drive a ridiculous amount of clicks to their website, for an article that really doesn’t have the stature of the headline it totes.
Jimmy Butler’s open to the idea of moving on from the Timberwolves to play alongside LeBron in LA, per @EricPincus https://t.co/3NqVMW89qO pic.twitter.com/yh0ECqtYUI

Undoubtedly, this article is a good one from just about every angle. It goes in-depth on who the LA Lakers will be targeting to play next to the best player in the world, in Lebron James. They go over all of the scenarios with a bunch of different players, including the young guys that the Lake-Show already have on the roster. One of the options discussed (very briefly) is Jimmy Butler.
Hidden within all of the prognosticating is one little sentence that Minnesota media will now talk about for the next week.
Really, this shouldn’t surprise us.
Jimmy has already said that he’s willing to bounce out of Minnesota if he doesn’t believe we have a chance to win it all while his is here. You can debate how you feel about that. We have a lot on this website… here… here… and here.
So, if Jimmy Butler does leave and ends up a free agent that is looking for a new home, OF COURSE HE IS GOING TO BE INTERESTED IN PLAYING WITH LEBRON FUCKING JAMES.
He wants rings. If you play with LeBron, you will have a chance at rings.
So, for the 759th time….. Let’s just hope that KAT and Wiggins bring a different attitude this season, and are able to prove to Jimmy that they can help him win a ring eventually, if he sticks it out with them. And yes, that probably means we will have to hang onto Thibs too…
So in other… less depressing news….. the Vikings play tonight!
