What in the GTA is Tattooed on Terrence Shannon Jr’s Forearm?
How much do you love you your favorite video game? Probably not as much as Minnesota Timberwolves rookie, Terrence Shannon Jr, who they picked No. 27 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft. He seems to be a HUGE fan of Grand Theft Auto.
We don’t know for sure if Shannon Jr. is into the entire franchise GTA franchise (which goes all the way back to 1997), or if he is a Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas loyalist. Oh, how do we know for sure that San Andreas is Terrence’s GTA fit?

Well, the 23 year old from Chicago, IL has one of the game’s cheat codes tattooed on the backside of his left forearm, just below his elbow. After someone asked about it on Twitter, the Timberwolves official account confirmed that it is a GTA cheat code.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was originally released in 2004 and then remastered as part of “GTA: The Trilogy” (2021). What happens when you type in — L1, R1, Square, R1, Left, R2, R1, Left, Square, Down, L1, L1 — while playing?
Infinite ammo, of course. I mean, which other GTA cheat code would you pick to have inked on your arm forever? We have not yet gotten the story behind Shannon Jr.’s GTA tattoo. When we do, it will be added to this article.

Just above the Grand Theft Auto cheat code, Terrence Shannon Jr. has “Le Heat” “Le Lock” Le Freak” tattooed, as well. It doesn’t take a professional spanish translator to know that is The Heat, The Lock, The Freak. Whether or not it is related to the cheat code is unknown.
