There are 25 games remaining on the 2025-26 Minnesota Timberwolves schedule, a number that will shrink yet again today when the Wolves welcome the (30-26) Philadelphia 76ers to town for a Sunday evening interconference battle that both teams need in their win column.

Per usual, tonight’s outcome will likely be dictated by Anthony Edwards, who put up 40 points Friday to help Minnesota narrowly escape a downbad Dallas Mavericks team, just a days after he was named NBA All-Star MVP.

Win or lose, however, it’s going to be difficult for Ant and the Timberwolves to beat the headline he made on Sunday morning, when the latest episode of Barstool’s “Sunday Conversation” featuring Minnesota’s 24-year-old superstar dropped.

The entire episode is must watch, just like most Sundae Conversations and just about every Edwards interview. And today, we got both. But there’s one part of the 5.5 minute episode grabbing the internet’s attention today.

Anthony Edwards drags Memphis hotel rooms during “Sunday Conversation” appearance

It starts with a question from host Caleb Pressley about whether Ant-Man ever thinks about the thousands of other people who have slept in the hotel beds he is sleeping in. And it turns out he does, especially when he stays in Memphis, TN.

I’m not sure what hotels the Minnesota Timberwolves are staying in when they play at the Grizzlies, or if every hotel room really is this bad, but Anthony Edwards does NOT paint a very kind picture.

Apparently, Ant’s previous hotel rooms in Memphis have been downright disgusting. He even claims that, “one time, I had stains and shit on the bed”, which Pressley has all sorts of fun with.

Pressley: “You ever walk into a hotel room and be like, ‘wow, thousands of people have slept in this bed before’?”

Edwards: “Yeah, especially when we go to Memphis. I be like, ‘damn, hotels ain’t nothin in Memphis’. That shit be dirty. I go out there in a Memphis hotel one time and I had stains and shit on the bed.”

Pressley: “Stains and shit?…they broke in your room for you?”

Edwards: “No, they didn’t break in.”

Pressley: “No, I’m saying ‘they broke it in’. But it’s Memphis, so they might have also ‘broke in.”

Edwards: “For sure, Memphis shout out.”

Anthony Edwards is the perfect interview subject for a Sundae Conversation because he’s so unplugged from the outside world that, even though he knows Pressley is trying to set him up, he he still doesn’t see some it coming much of the time.

A-Rod steroid joke goes over Edwards’ head

Pressley opened by calling him the Minnesota Timberwolves’ Austin Reeves, which Ant rolled with. Then, they moved onto Finch, who Edwards called “the best in the world”, before he was blindsided by a “question” on whether new owner Alex Rodriguez has “brought some juice” to the team.

When the steroid joke went over Ant’s head, Caleb Pressley doubled down by asking if A-Rod’s presence in the building made Minnesota a “stronger” team — which still didn’t light the lamp. Finally, the host just said, “steroids”, and Edwards couldn’t believe it.

“Glenny Balls” then talked about what he would do if he could spend a day in Anthony Edwards’ body. After that, Ant admitted he can’t name one player from either the Minnesota Twins or Minnesota Wild — “I don’t watch no baseball or no hockey.”

Just watch the clip, it’ll make a happy, patriotic Sunday even better.
