Minnesota Timberwolves Playoff Depth Chart

Here’s how the 3-seed Timberwolves depth chart currently shakes out for their 1st round playoff series vs the 6-seed Phoenix Suns. Karl-Anthony Towns is back after a month-long recovery from his torn meniscus surgery.

Players listed at one position in the below chart likely play other positions, as well. Basketball is becoming more and more positionless each year. Still, the chart reflects rather accurately where players are getting the most minutes recently.

Daishen Nix and Jaylen Clark (injured) were on two-way contracts, which means they cannot play in more than 45 regular season games this year and they were not eligible for the playoff roster. Luka Garza had his 2-way contract converted to a standard NBA contract before the end of the season, making him playoff eligible.

The Timberwolves were able to avoid the major injury bug this season, before Towns went down late. Rookie Jaylen Clark was the only Wolves player who’s been dealt a season-long injury, so far this season.
