Thursday was not the news day that Wednesday was. However, one could argue THE biggest story of the two days is brewing now and seems all but complete.

The Twins Make a Move:

  • It hasn’t been confirmed yet but it looks like Jaime Garcia of the Atlanta Braves is on his way north for a prospect yet to be named. Garcia has a career 3.65 ERA that has ballooned to 4.33 this season… There are 11 pitchers that have started games this year for the Twins. Only 3 of those have a better ERA than 4.33 (Santana, Berrios, Mejia). Here is more from the StarTribune’s Phil Miller. Jeremy Nygaard of Twins Daily seems to have steam that the Twins won’t lose anyone we will cry over. (We will update this when we find out details)

No Wiggins Contract Yet:

    • We are still hearing that Wiggins and the Timberwolves are working on a deal that will total around $148 Million. However, they might be a little longer than first expected. Here is Darren Wolfson at just before 11 PM on Thursday:

PJ Fleck to Star in ESPNU Special:

    • PJ Fleck continues to impress me. Some may call him to flashy or whatever you want to call it.  He isn’t trying to impress you. He is trying to impress 16-18 year old kids. Kids who love watching cool specials on ESPN. So, just sit back and watch PJ Row the Boat right to the top of the B1G in the next few handful of years. Twins Celebrate 30th Anniversary of ’87 World Series Victory:

    • I was 2 years away from being a thing in 1987 so I don’t have much to say other than: I AM JEALOUS. But, we will wait patiently for our turn. Will we see a big move Friday? It sounds like the Garcia deal will be done at some point. Anything else?
