Another week full of Justin Jefferson question marks appears on its way to the same conclusion as those before it. On Friday, Jefferson was officially listed as “Questionable” on the Minnesota Vikings injury report, for Sunday Night Football vs the Denver Broncos.

Justin Jefferson unlikely to play vs Broncos

Kevin Siefert (ESPN) took it a step further and tweeted that, for the sixth-straight game, JJ isn’t expected to be activate on the Vikings 53-man roster. Siefert did offer a small glimmer of hope at the very end of his tweet. Yes, Justin is unlikely to play… but he’s more likely than last week.

Jefferson made it clear, in his press conference on Thursday, that he will make the final decision on when he returns to the football field. We’ll see if things change in the next 48 hours, but as of now, it seems he will not be clearing himself vs Denver.

Minnesota Vikings getting it done without JJ

Luckily, losing Jefferson hasn’t stopped the Minnesota Vikings from winning games. In fact, they are 1-4 this season, with JJ, and 5-0 without him.

Obviously, that’s a weird stat that nobody needs to read deeper into. Nonetheless, it does show that the Vikings can feel confident about winning games, even without arguably the best position player in the league available to take the field for them.
