Wow. Just Wow….
I just got done watching the first episode of the PJ Fleck Special on ESPNU. What a story. This guy’s drive is incredible. Everyone who has been around him gushes.
Why did he come here? To Minnesota? I don’t know but he seems to like it. How much?
Well PJ…. you can just stay forever… please…
My love affair for PJ is so real right now that even the “Minnesota too good to be true” bells going off in my head – at an all-time level – can’t stop me from falling head-over-heels.
It’s comparable to falling for that girl in high school, that you knew was too good for you. It was just a matter of time. But, you just can’t help yourself. Soon, we will probably be texting him way too much and asking if he is mad at us or if anything is wrong? Staring at the ceiling all night hoping he doesn’t leave for a bigger-better opportunity.
BUT. BUT. BUT. Let’s not worry about that right now. It is time to appreciate this moment. PJ will be here for a few years, at least. Maybe forever. We can’t read his mind. We know he is here now. He took Western Michigan to the Cotton Bowl. Can he take the Gophers to a Rose Bowl? I can’t wait to find out.
I’m not the only one firmly on the bandwagon. In one offseason, without any extra time to build relationships from Minnesota soil, Fleck already has the best recruiting class since 247Sports ranked Brewster’s first class at 17, in 2007 – StarTribune.
But how do you not follow this guy to whatever school he is coaching at?
Gopher sports has never had leaders that made the future look this bright, at it’s two most important sports, at the same time… EVER. Fleck and Pitino have the fanbase buzzing and possibly…. believing?
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Well, you don’t have to. I was ahead of myself on PJ and Pitino for awhile now.
