Special teams have been a hot button topic, during Fleck’s 7 season tenure at the University of Minnesota. They had an all-conference kicker this season, in Dragan Kesich, but they’ve struggled in both the return and coverage games during much of that time.

The Gophers are now on the hunt for a new defensive coordinator, special teams coordinator and tight ends coach.
