Unknown NFL Team Wants to Interview PJ Fleck
Minnesota Gophers head football coach, PJ Fleck, has completely changed the landscape of college football in this state. He’s taken the program from an afterthought to the king of campus.
But according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, there’s at least one NFL team that is interested in PJ Fleck’s culture changing services.
A handful of college coaches are drawing interest for NFL head coaching jobs, and here’s an interesting one: Minnesota’s P.J. Fleck.

I’m told at least one team wants to interview Fleck, 40, who’s one of the only current FBS head coaches to both play and coach in the NFL.
Interview Request
Whatever team is interested in PJ, the fixation has become strong enough that they, at-the-least, want to interview him. Things are rather serious at that point, no?
I really hope Fleck turns the interview request down, for the good of his Minnesota Gophers program. It’s no surprise to see that PJ has other suiters but, if he’s successful here, the bright lights of the NFL will always be waiting for him.
PJ Fleck just turned 40 in November and there is plenty left to accomplish at the University of Minnesota, where he promised a Rose Bowl and much more. He also just signed his best recruiting class in 2021. It’s a class that includes his QB of the future and much much more.
But we’ll have a close eye out watching for anything else that develops on this story.
