Tyler Nubin Named AP All-American – 2nd Team
Nubin began the 2023 season on everyone’s draft board but still found a way to exceed expectations and climb up into first round consideration. Many thought Tyler would find his way onto at least one of the 1st Team All-America lists too, but he falls just short.

This year, the St. Charles, IL native grabbed five interceptions. The final INT of Nubin’s career happened in the final regular season game of 2023, vs Wisconsin. Heading into the Quick Lane Bowl on December 26, Tyler leads the Gophers defense in interceptions, ranks 2nd in tackles (53), and 3rd in pass breakups (4).
