Gophers Receive Transfer Portal Commitment from WR Cristian Driver (Penn State)
It’s still transfer portal season, in case anybody tried to forget. And on Sunday night, the Minnesota Gophers got some really good news in that department when Cristian Driver — son of former Green Bay Packers star receiver Donald Driver — committed to transferring from Penn State to Minnesota.

Driver was a composite 4-star 2022 high school prospect, out of Texas, when he joined Penn State, but he struggled to find the field, in his two seasons with the Nittany Lions. He redshirted as a Freshman and got into just 6 games last season, catching just one pass for 8 yards.
We’ll see if he can resurrect his college career in Dinkytown, where he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
