We lost a good one to the transfer portal yesterday afternoon, Gopher fam. Kiondre Thomas has decided to take his talents elsewhere for what will be his Redshirt Senior season.

Thomas has played in 32 games over the last three seasons. With this being his fifth year of eligibility, he’d be a graduate transfer for 2020. https://t.co/7zAeBnaaHn pic.twitter.com/vkSNwErrCe
According to Ryan Burns’ story for GopherIllustrated.com, Thomas will be transferring as a Graduate so he’ll be eligible to play immediately, wherever that is.
It doesn’t seem like there’s much to see here. Thomas is one of the few that still remain from before PJ Fleck got here and his playing time was in jeopardy for next season, after the emergence of Coney Durr and Benjamin St. Juste in 2019 multiplied with plenty of young talent behind him…
Thomas had a solid career in Maroon and Gold, however. And we should celebrate that and congratulate him on his way out.
