Holy Moly, Aaron Rodgers Might Actually Get Traded to Jets

It’s the biggest topic in the sports world on Tuesday. The Green Bay Packers have given Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets permission to discuss the possibilities of him continuing his career in the Big Apple.

But we aren’t talking about a phone call or Zoom meeting. According to multiple reports, Jets brass have boarded owner Woody Johnson’s private plane and they’re about to land in California to meet with Rodgers, in-person.

Steam has been building toward an Aaron Rodgers departure from Green Bay for weeks now. But until today, I needed to see it to believe it. There’s no way the Packers would willingly hand the organization’s keys to Jordan Love, right? Not in the NFC North, possibly the most winnable division in the NFL right now?

But there’s mistaking how close Rodgers is to leaving, not only the division, but the National Football Conference. Aaron’s exodus would, without a doubt, make Kirk Cousins the best quarterback in the NFC North.
