When are people going to learn to shut their mouths when they have microphones in front of or attached to them? Hopefully never. The latest person to fall victim to a “hot mic” is Nebraska President, Ted Carter. He was just letting a buddy in on a little secret, but fortunately for us, someone was recording the conversation through a podium microphone right next to him.
The guy with the mic was Bob Hinson, director of the National Strategic Research Institute. I don’t know what he was about to speak on, but I’m thankful for it. You can see the original report and video HERE from KETV (ABC – Omaha)

This morning, the official Minnesota Gophers Football twitter account released a poll asking who knew when the last time the Gophers started a football season in October was….
That seems like weird timing. I think it’s time to get out the champagne. It looks like we might have a fall football season to look forward to in Big Ten country by the end of the day.
