Twins and Wolves are Back Today; Doubleheader Added for Twins on Wednesday; Other Schedule Announcements
There were three major professional sporting events scheduled in the Twin Cities for Monday and they were all postponed. The decisions were made to allow community grieving after a police officer shot Daunte Wright during a traffic stop that went wrong over the weekend and to make sure players and fans were safe and home by the curfew mandated for multiple counties in and near Minneapolis and St. Paul last night.
On Tuesday morning both the Twins and Timberwolves announced those rescheduled games.
The Timberwolves will move last night’s matchup vs the Brooklyn Nets to THIS AFTERNOON at 3:00 PM. The Twins have made tomorrow’s scheduled matchup vs the Boston Red Sox a doubleheader and will play today’s game as scheduled.
The Wild haven’t announced their rescheduled game with the Phoenix Coyotes yet but Russo is hearing Wednesday afternoon as the likely make up date.
