Video of Justin Jefferson Running, Cutting, Taking Contact at Vikings Practice
Justin Jefferson has returned to Minnesota Vikings practice and all eyes are on his injured hamstring, and when it will allow him to return to the field. His 21-day practice window started on Wednesday, but JJ gave an interview Thursday that shed little light on his return timeline.

But for those trying to keep track of every possible update, in our favorite receiver’s return to the field, some video of Justin Jefferson just surfaced that might make Vikings fans breathe a slight sigh of relief.

It comes via KSTP Sports (Ch. 5) cameras during a small portion of Vikings practice that media was allowed to film. The 2-minute clips begins with JJ catching, twisting, cutting, running and taking contact.

Obviously, the clip above isn’t very long. But given prior reports about how hard his workouts have been, it’s clear he’s feeling pretty good. In the above video of Justin Jefferson at TCO Performance Center today, he isn’t going 100% but there doesn’t appear to be any sign of limping or favoring of that injured hamstring.
Jefferson return timeline still unknown
All we know about Jefferson’s return timeline is that he’s highly unlikely to play this weekend vs the New Orleans Saints. If that holds true, as expected, does it make sense for JJ to return a week later, vs the Denver Broncos, with the week 13 bye around the corner?
Justin Jefferson’s 21-day window expires on December 6, at which time the Vikings must send him back to IR or activate him to the 53-man roster. There doesn’t seem to be any inclination that he won’t be activated by then.
Others in the KSTP Sports footage include Christian Darrisaw, who was limited at practice and very questionable to return vs the Saints, along with KJ Osborn, who continues to look good after being knocked out cold going over the middle vs Atlanta.
The Vikings brought Tanner Morgan back onto their practice squad, as well, giving him another paycheck. He’s wearing the #4 and makes an appearance, too.
