Justin Jefferson Named AP All-Pro; Dalvin Cook Snubbed
The Associated Press has released their 1st and 2nd team NFL All-Pro’s and there were some interesting Minnesota Vikings who made and missed the list. Rookie wide receiver, Justin Jefferson griddy’d his way in but running back, Dalvin Cook, was left off.

Dalvin Cook snub
Vikings’ fans should be up in arms about Dalvin Cook’s All-Pro snub. Derrick Henry totaled over 2000 rushing yards on the season so it’s difficult to see Cook ahead of him but Dalvin racked up more rushing yards (1,557 vs 932) and all-purpose yards (1,918 vs 1,688) than Alvin Kamara did in 2020.
Kamara posted the exact same number of rushing touchdowns as Cook (16) and just 4 more receiving TD (5 vs 1). But the most frustrating part? In week 16, Kamara’s last of the season, Minnesota’s defense gave up 6 rushing touchdowns to the Saints running back.
Without those additional touchdowns, there’s no way the AP voters could have placed Kamara ahead of Cook.
Congrats Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson deserves this honor, even as a rookie and I think we just need to sit and take this time to appreciate the kid out of LSU who saved the Minnesota Vikings season and their future from being complete disasters.
