Finally, some good news…

Nelson Cruz said he has no pain. He was laughing. Will see a specialist on Monday. Said he has some kind of tear. But, was able to grab the bat today. #MNTwins

Weird as in, this has gone from potentially dire to Nelson Cruz may not be out very long.

#MNTwins DH Nelson Cruz was candid, optimistic, and more in the clubhouse this afternoon. Here's a snippet, plus a link to more from Cruz and manager Rocco Baldelli. It's fascinating that he has a ruptured tendon in his left wrist, yet isn't in pain.https://t.co/N58zdb0n0S pic.twitter.com/eDDkjsBHzK

With the current Twins pitching problems… (could be more on that to come, depending on how this game goes tonight) … the Nelson Cruz injury cloud hanging over the team was depression on top of depression. But now, it looks like Cruz doesn’t even have any pain in his wrist, even though he has a torn tendon. Our guy defies the realities of pain.
Now we can focus on getting a W tonight. LaVelle E. Neal also reported today on KFAN, that he expected Byron Buxton to be back within a few weeks. I’d be happy with a healthy roster for September.
