If the MLB Went WWE… Who Represents for Their Team in a Royal Rumble?

Yoan Moncada

Height: 6’2” Weight: 205

As we stay in the windy city, we take a look at the White Sox representative. This team is full of guys who could probably fend for themselves, such as José Abreu or Edwin Encarnacion. But while those two may have ungodly strength, they are both over 30. Yoan Moncada has power, speed and youth. He is one of the lightest on the fight card, but don’t let that get to your head. Though I do not believe he would come out victorious, Moncada would not disappoint.

Miguel Sano

Height: 6’4” Weight: 272

One of the favorites to win the entire thing goes by the name of Miguel Sano. He may look friendly, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t kill you. Another massive human being who is very capable of handling his own, both on the field and in the ring. Sano has the ability to bring the Twins its first championship since 1991 and win or lose would be a sight to see in an event like this.

Cleveland Indians

Franmil Reyes

Height: 6’5” Weight: 275

My first thought on Franmil Reyes is why isn’t he playing for the Cleveland Browns? This dude is bigger than Myles Garrett and most certainly won’t beat anyone over the head with his helmet. What a massive baseball player this guy is.  He has tremendous power in the batters-box, but would it translate to a brawl?

Detroit Tigers

Austin Romine

Height: 5’10 Weight: 220

I can’t decide if Austin Romaine looks like a young Kevin James with a beard or a man who has lived in the woods for the last year. He is a catcher which makes me want to give him a chance due to his ability to withstand a beating. But after getting his ass kicked by teammate Miguel Cabrera I don’t think he fares well in this melee.

Kansas City Royals

Jorge Soler

Height: 6’4” Weight: 230

If you can hit 48 homeruns in a season, I would hope you would be able to fight. Jorge is one of the easiest names to chant, so hypothetically if fans were allowed in attendance, he would have them on his side for sure. He recently rediscovered his ability to punish a baseball, and I believe that he could punish a skull as well.
