Anthony Edwards Releases Statement Confirming Exposed Text Messages Were His
The (19-5) Minnesota Timberwolves will get back on the court tonight in Miami vs Jimmy Butler and a fully healthy Heat team looking to climb up the rankings in the Eastern Conference. But before that, Anthony Edwards is trying to tackle a personal dilemma that he’s been dealing with off the court.
Anthony Edwards dealing with text message, baby mama drama
Baby mama drama that was thrust into the public sphere on Sunday night when Instagram model, Paige Jordae, posted screenshots to her IG story of alleged text messages between her and Edwards, making Ant the talk of NBA Twitter for the past 12 hours.
The internet uproar didn’t happen because Ant’s side chick exposed him for cheating on his girlfriend, Jeanine Robel. I mean… this is an NBA player we are talking about, afterall. The backlash came because of what Ant said in the messages, which can be read HERE, in which he casually tells Jordae to “get an abortion lol”, among other things.
Edwards releases statement, apology
Until Monday morning, the text messages making their way around the world wide web were ALLEGEDLY from Anthony Edwards. That changed when he (or someone in his camp) typed up and posted this message, apologizing for what he said to Paige Jordae “in the heat of the moment”, to all of his social media channels.

“I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man. All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them. I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time.”
