Alex Rodriguez Buying Stake in Timberwolves with Plans to Take Over Franchise in Two Years
It’s happening. Glen Taylor is selling the Minnesota Timberwolves and the buyer is a bona fide SUPERSTAR. Sit down, KG, I’m not talking about you. Former MLB great and New York Yankee legend, Alex Rodriguez, is reportedly in the process of buying the Wolves from Taylor. A-Rod’s partner is Billionaire Marc Lore, the president of a small department store company called “Wal-Mart”. According to The Athletic, the deal is worth $1.5 billion and will include the Minnesota Lynx.
If Alex Rodriguez can’t make the Minnesota Timberwolves relevant then nobody will. Looks like the agreement, as Taylor has long promised, will include language that keeps the team in Minneapolis….

Most importantly: Taylor said A-Rod and Lore pledged to keep the teams in Minnesota and they will include language in the potential deal to that effect.
