A-Rod, Lore Reach Agreement to Purchase Timberwolves
Alex Rodriguez, Marc Lore and Glen Taylor have reportedly reached an agreement on the sale of the Minnesota Timberwolves. This, according to reports from Front Office Sports and The Athletic (below). The exclusive negotiating window between the two sides expired earlier this week but that proved not to matter.

There haven’t been any big changes reported from what we heard about the potential agreement between Lore, A-Rod and Taylor over a month ago. As far as we know, the plan is still for Rodriguez and Lore to take a minority stake in the team while Glen shows them the ropes. Eventually, he’ll hand over the controlling reigns to the two young(er) moguls.
Most everyone “in the know” also believes the new ownership group will keep the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise in Minnesota. If anything changes surrounding these details, I’ll update this blog accordingly.
