You won’t find very many people across the globe who enjoyed the bulk of their 2020. It’s been difficult on everyone. But for Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns, who lost seven total family members (including his mom) to COVID-19, “difficult” doesn’t begin to describe the worst year of his life.
So, just before the calendar turned over to 2021, KAT had a pointed message for the year that was 2020.
From my family to you 2020,
— Karl-Anthony Towns (@KarlTowns) January 1, 2021
Fuck You.
-KAT
I can appreciate Karl not wanting speak for those he is not close to, but I think we can all agree that this tweet speaks, not just for KAT’s grieving family, but for most of us around the world.
Others on Twitter agree. So let’s all raise at least one middle finger and say it together.
Dear 2020, fuck you.
I feel better.
We second that, KAT. đź‘‹ pic.twitter.com/Tm89z2DoSq
