Nebraska President Leaks Return of Big Ten Football on Hot Mic
When are people going to learn to shut their mouths when they have microphones in front of or attached to them? Hopefully never. The latest person to fall victim to a “hot mic” is Nebraska President, Ted Carter. He was just letting a buddy in on a little secret, but fortunately for us, someone was recording the conversation through a podium microphone right next to him.
The guy with the mic was Bob Hinson, director of the National Strategic Research Institute. I don’t know what he was about to speak on, but I’m thankful for it. You can see the original report and video HERE from KETV (ABC – Omaha)

Momentum for fall football seems to be building around the big ten and now it just seems to be a matter of time before a more official leak or announcement is made. Paul Finebaum and others have mentioned how an October 17 return is paramount to competing for a college football championship.
This morning, the official Minnesota Gophers Football twitter account released a poll asking who knew when the last time the Gophers started a football season in October was….

That seems like weird timing. I think it’s time to get out the champagne. It looks like we might have a fall football season to look forward to in Big Ten country by the end of the day.
