The Twins Lost to Cleveland Thursday; Here’s What Actually Matters:
Santana Pitched Well Today in Limited Action
The Twins were cautious with Santana on Thursday. But, he was good in his limited time. He threw 57 pitches in 5 innings and gave up just 4 hits. He finishes the regular season with a 3.28 ERA.
Max Kepler was good today, going 2-4. Garver drove in the Twins’ only runs with a triple. Their B squad would fall 5-2.

Sano Has Positive Workout – Playoffs Still a ???
Sano looked better today and it looks like he may finally be on his way back from his injury. Will it be in time? That remains the question. The Twins are waiting to see how the next week goes. If they were to beat the Yankees, we will find out if Sano will be ready.
Sano’s body might be ready by then but will he be able to face the type of pitching the Indians will throw at him? That is yet to be seen…
Don’t like playing with fans emotions. But Miguel Sano had a 2nd good day of hitting at TF. Will probably face live pitching this weekend

Twins Expecting Sellout for ALDS… If They Make It.
Season ticket holders are already able to buy tickets to every Twins game that could be played at Target Field this October. General admission tickets just went on sale. They aren’t sold out yet but they will go fast if they pulled it off against New York. Very fast…

Sam Bradford Ruled Out Sunday:
This news didn’t surprise anyone. However, the Vikings did get good news on the Bradford front last weekend, when he visited Dr. James Andrews, for a second opinion on his knee. No structural damage. So Bradford needs time. As long as Case Keenum plays well, he can have that time.
Now, Teddy Bridgewater is eligible to come back after week 6. Will he? We don’t know for sure.

Bruce Boudreau Back After Grieving Death of Brother:
Bruce Boudreau’s brother died recently and he took the last 4 days to grieve with his family back in Canada. He died of a heart attack and it was sudden which makes it even more difficult for the grieving family and friends. But, it seemed Bruce was happy to be back with his hockey family where he can get away for a while each day.

Fleck Taking Aim at Top National Quarterbacks; One Will Visit Saturday vs Maryland:
I love this. And, Ryan Burns of Scout.com, who is quoted many times in this piece, really seems to think the Gophers have a chance. Hank Bachmeier is the 140th best player in the nation, according to 247Sports, and the 4th-best pro-style QB in the 2019 class. He is out of California AND HE WILL BE ON CAMPUS THIS WEEKEND FOR THE GAME AGAINST MARYLAND.
This article talks about how an early commitment from a guy like this could start a domino effect for top guys on offense, like the two offensive tackles from the Twin Cities that Fleck was impressing with helicopters last week. Here is the tape on the new QB recruit.
