Tre Holloman Hits 3PT Shot at Buzzer to Send CDH to State Tournament
Cretin-Derham Hall’s Tre Holloman should be Ben Johnson’s number one 2022 target, after landing the Minnesota Gophers head coaching job and the 4-star point guard (who is also a 3-star football prospect) showed why again tonight. Holloman is known for his elite-level passing but he can shoot the ball too and he loves the big moment. Need proof of either? Here you go.
He was leading Cretin-Derham Hall against Woodbury tonight, with a trip to the state tournament was on the line. The score was 55-55 and Tre Holloman dribbled the ball across half court and over to the right wing with time running out.
I’ll let you watch what happened next. Make sure your sound is up. These high school calls are absolute gold.

Woodbury chipped away, tying it on a FT :08 to go.
Woodbury missed the 2nd FT, CDH rebounded… and then………. ???? ???? ???? pic.twitter.com/W8g4GwiKGz
The crossover.. and then the shot (with the foul). It didn’t matter, Holloman has ice in his veins and Ben Johnson needs to get this kid in maroon and gold if he wants to live up to those big time recruiting expectations he’s laid down.
